Oltre che di HIV - sulla quale ho presentato l'esito dei lavori portati avanti dalla dodicesima commissione del Senato - si è parlato della tossicità negli studi di coorte, la qualità della vita e la problematica della tossicità dei farmaci ARV nelle popolazioni speciali.

Ringrazio ancora una volta gli organizzatori per l'invito a questo importante convegno e tutti gli specialisti infettivologi, microbiologi, virologi e farmacisti ospedalieri che hanno partecipato.

Confermo, come già fatto durante il convegno, che il mio impegno di relatrice sul grave problema dell'HIV / AIDS continuerà - con diverse iniziative in tutta Italia - sino al grande convegno internazionale IAS che si terrà dal 15 al 20 luglio a Roma e a cui parteciperanno rappresentazioni da tutto il mondo.

Allarme donne: "Sono più povere e più precarie"

Guadagnano meno e trovano impieghi peggiori. La Provincia: segregate in attività che nessuno vuole

Segregate. La parola è forte, ma fotografa una realtà che la crisi ha aggravato. Le donne - secondo una ricerca della Provincia -, oltre a fare più fatica a trovare un lavoro, lo trovano più brutto e più precario rispetto agli uomini. Nel vorticoso e disordinato mercato le donne hanno sottoscritto, nel solo secondo semestre del 2010, oltre 97 mila contratti di avviamento, il 54% del totale.

Ma per loro il tanto agognato, e quasi estinto, tempo indeterminato - sinonimo ancora per tutti di stabilità e sicurezza - resta appannaggio maschile: lo hanno ottenuto quasi 11 mila maschi e solo 8400 donne, il 43% del totale. Andava un po’ meglio prima della crisi, ma adesso - mentre le donne sono maggioranza negli «avviamenti» al lavoro- diventano minoranza in quelli verso lavori «buoni».

Nei contratti interinali - che all’inizio della crisi hanno penalizzato i maschi - entrambi i generi pagano lo scotto alla recessione: le giornate medie sono passate dalle 37 del 2008 alle 22 attuali.

Forse il settore più amichevole è quello del lavoro parasubordinato che coinvolge titoli di studio e qualifiche medio-alti e che è molto utilizzato soprattutto nella pubblica amministrazione. Ha resistito meglio al vento di crisi e le donne avviate, anche nel triennio nero 2008-2010, sono state la maggioranza, il 56 per cento. Ma non è tutto oro quel che luccica: infatti è il tempo di durata del contratto parasubordinato to decline more for women than for men. L’assessore Chiama non ha dubbi: «Le donne fanno lavori peggiori e guadagnano meno. Si può parlare di segregazione in attività, come quelle dell’assistenza, che altri non vogliono fare». E analizza: «Nel mercato del lavoro italiano c’è uno spreco: le donne come è noto sono le più brave a scuola, le migliori laureate, ma quando si arriva al lavoro sono segregate. L’unico settore in cui non accade è la pubblica amministrazione, a cui si accede per concorso, e in quel caso il merito vince».

Aggiunge: «Stupisce anche l’immobilismo totale rispetto a nuove modalità che potrebbero aiutare l’occupazione femminile come il telelavoro. Dove viene sperimentato, come a Tilab, si è registrato un aumento della produttività. Ma allora perché non si estende?».
